New Antigone Award for Drawing / Graphics
Submit one or a group of artwork that will express aesthetically Antigone's spirit of contestation against norms and imposed concepts and principles.
Entry fee: $5.00 - Pay Entry
Submissions:
Until 1 November 2005, only by low resolution jpeg email attachment; every participant maintains their copyrights. If shortlisted, a higher resolution picture will be requested.
Award: $200.00 plus automatic entry for the New Antigone Annual Award for Best Artwork valued at $1000


New Antigone Award for B/W Photograph
Submit one or group of photographs that will express aesthetically Antigone's spirit of contest against norms and imposed concepts and principles.
Entry fee: $5.00 - Pay Entry
Submissions:

Award: $200.00 plus automatic entry for the New Antigone Annual Award for Best Artwork valued at $1000


New Antigone Annual Award for Best Artwork
Submit one or group of artworks that will express aesthetically Antigone's spirit of contestation against norms and imposed concepts and principles.
Entry fee: $10.00 - Pay Entry
Submissions:
Until 15th June 2006, only by low resolution jpeg email attachment; every participant maintains their copyrights. If shortlisted, a higher resolution picture will be requested.
Award: $1000.00


New Antigone Award for the Best Work of Short Fiction
the work shall consist of an interview or dialogue with a fictional character or author of fiction, poetry or drama/theatre. Participants maintain their copyright.
Entry fee: $5.00 - Pay Entry
Submissions:
Until 1 November 2005 and in accordance with the Submission Guide
Award: $200.00


New Antigone Award for the Best Essay
The essay will underline the attitudes of Sophocles' Antigone and Ismene, their relationship and symbolic discourse for politics, anthropology, medicine, gender studies, cultural studies and philosophy. Please see our Submission Guidelines for style/citation and words limit is 3000-3500w.
Entry fee: $5.00 - Pay Entry
Submissions:
Until 1 November 2005 and in accordance with the Submission Guide
Award: $400.00
